Community Accounting Services helps our families and our communities.
In 2015, nearly 11,000 filers received $28.4 million in federal refunds and credits through the 2015 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and MyFreeTaxes Campaign in central and northeastern Connecticut, with help from 300 dedicated IRS-certified volunteers who contributed more than 10,000 hours of service. Our services are also critical for nonprofits and small businesses, like this local store: |
I had opened a new business, a liquor store, and had no idea how to do the business taxes. It was an S Corporation and quite involved. I met with Pat McMahon, who was volunteering his time to advise me. He went over the whole process and got me on the right track; it saved countless hours and a lot of money and aggravation, thanks to his good advice. I believe he spent more than two hours of his own time explaining the process to me and what I had to do.
I just wanted to take this time to say what a great service you have and what a great help Patrick was.
